
Mallory Harper is a native of Auburn, Alabama. She grew up in Auburn and graduated from both Auburn High School and Auburn University. Mallory earned a B.A. in Sociology and a Minor in Psychology. While in college at Auburn University, Mallory served as an intern with the Alabama Sentencing Commission in Montgomery, Alabama. Mallory attended Faulkner University Jones School of Law where she earned both her J.D. combined with an LL.M. degree in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During law school, Mallory served on the Executive Board of the Faulkner Law Review in addition to being elected to serve on the Student Bar Association. Mallory also served as both a clerk and interim judicial assistant for Lee County Judge Mike C. Fellows throughout her time in law school.
Mallory began her legal career in private practice in Lee County, Alabama, working in the areas of domestic relations and juvenile law. Mallory has served as an appointed Guardian ad Litem in numerous cases and continues to serve as appointed trial and appellate counsel for various juvenile cases in Lee County, Alabama.
Mallory is admitted to practice in both Alabama and Georgia as well as the United States Federal Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama. Mallory was appointed by the United States Bankruptcy Administrator for the Middle District of Alabama to serve as a Chapter 7 panel trustee for the Middle District. Mallory has experience handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases on behalf of debtors and continues to serve as a Chapter 7 panel trustee.
